NEW CLASS! Join Judy Kubicki and learn the Northwoods style of coloring to make a beautiful Butterfly and Floral dimensional medallion using markers and a paintbrush.
It is not necessary to bring your stamping suitcase; however, please bring water/dye-based markers (Tombow preferred), a Judi-Kins medium water brush or a #3 or #4 round paintbrush. Please note that permanent, alcohol or chalk markers will not work. A list of colors will be available at sign-up.

NEW CLASS! Join Kay McGuire (and mum Jennifer McGuire, a designer for Hero Arts) for a kids cardmaking class. Kay (age 14) will lead students in creating 5+ stamped cards. Lots of fun techniques and colorful ideas will be shared!

New card designs and techniques will be featured each month and students will make 3 each of 4 different cards, for a total of 12 cards with matching envelopes. This class will feature a winter/Christmas card as one of the 4 card designs each month to help you get a jump start on your holiday card-making! Cards and techniques used will change monthly.
Please bring scissors, adhesive (double-sided tape and pop dots), and markers or colored pencils for coloring.

NEW CLASS! Copic markers are all the rage because they are alcohol-based markers that come in a wide range of vibrant colors and blend beautifully. If you have purchased some of these fabulous markers, but don’t quite know what to do with them, join CJ Vogt, a Certified Copic Designer, for this colorful and informative class. You will learn about different types of Copic markers, the coding system, how to color and blend stamped images, refill markers, and more. Several stamped images will be colored in class that can later be assembled into finished cards using the take-home packets provided during class.



CUTTLEBUGITIS I$21

Have you tried to get in on the epidemic of the Cuttlebug-itis and haven’t been able to get in one of Peggy’s classes? Well, here is you final chance to take Cuttlebugitis I this year. Peggy has searched the web and found over 100 different techniques. She will be sharing 10 of them in this class, along with a handout for you to take home. This is a technique only class.
Class could get messy, so wear an apron or old clothes.

NEW CLASS! Join Peggy Cain to learn tips and tricks on how to use the Scor-Pal and Scor-Bug. The Scor-Pal is the perfect tool for straight and diagonal line embossing on cards. In this class, you will make 6 awesome cards each with a different technique and style.
Please Bring Scor-Pal, Scor-bug, and your basic stamping suitcase. Printed papers used in class may vary sligthly compared to the in-store card sample.

NEW CLASS! Join Jennifer McGuire, a designer for Hero Arts, for a quick-moving NEW class full of the newest stamps, ideas, techniques and card designs. You will make 6-7 cards.
Students need to bring mini-glue dots and pop-dots, colored pencils or markers, scissors, adhesive, and craft knife.

If you’ve always wanted to make your own cards, then this class is for you! Whether you’re a total beginner or someone confused about some of the newer products out there, Joan Benoit will teach you everything you need to know, including how to ink up and stamp correctly for a perfect image every time, how to emboss with a heat tool, how to make a card look “hand-made” and not “home-made,” different inks available and their uses, basic tools to get started, plus care, cleaning and storage of unmounted and mounted stamps. You will complete one card in this class and receive a handout on each topic discussed.
Students need only bring a pencil and paper.



QUILLING SAMPLER$23

Bring a slotted quilling tool, piercing tool, craft tweezers (narrow tip, angled preferred), quilling cork board or corrugated cardboard wrapped in wax paper, straight pins with ball tops, and tacky glue.

BASIC STAMPING SUITCASE

It is recommended that bring stamping basic to each class. In some class descriptions, additional supplies are listed. The basic stamping supplies include: a ruler (metal edged preferred), pencil, paper for notes, X-acto knife, cutting mat, glue stick, double-sided scitch tape, scissors, markers, a few pigment ink pads, and a black dye ink pad. Please mark your items.

*CANCELLATION POLICY: NO REFUND FOR MISSED CLASSES.
*PRE-PAID registration by credit card, cash or check is necessary.
*New Policy: Classes must be paid for at the time you sign up. If you register by phone, your credit card number will be charged. This new policy will speed up class time and eliminate payment confusion before a class.
*Class changes will only be accepted if requested 72 hours prior to class.
*Full refund of class fee will be made only if SYAO is notified 72 hours prior to class.
*Some instructors may require a one week cancellation policy.
